"Lucille" is a mix of lyrics about several different crushes Randy had at the time. He never actually did it in the bathroom, dude! One of his favorite local band's frontman was very popular with the ladies and had indeed made it in the local all night diner's restroom.
At one time, Randy was actually very shy and had a hard time telling girls how he felt so he'd name songs after old women's names he thought were cool.
lyrics
Should've known not to mess with a girl that I met at the local mall but the way that she looked and the way that she talked had me hooked right from the start.
It was all groovy till I took her to a movie and she kissed me during the love scene. It was nothing new till the mood got us nude and we did it in the bathroom, dude!
Lucille, I'm sorry I never tell you how I feel.
Where have you gone? I've looked all around.
Lucille, for real why don't you give me a phone call?
I could be the best friend that you've ever had.
She was always smiling. All the guys were always trying to be with her all of the time.
With a wink of her eye you would die for a try to be her only steady guy.
I wasn't the first and I won't be the last but I thought I had a real good chance.
With no explanation and no destination it's become a part of the past.
Lucille, I'm sorry I never tell you how I feel.
Where have you gone? I've looked all around.
Lucille, for real why don't you give me a phone call?
I could be the best friend that you've ever had.
Should've known not to mess with a girl that I met at the local mall but the way that she looked and the way that she talked had me hooked right from the start.
It was all groovy till I took her to a movie and she kissed me during the love scene. It was nothing new till the mood got us nude and we did it in the bathroom, dude!
